Dan currently serves as Ciox Health’s Chief Commercial Officer, bringing 15 years of health consulting and buy-side software and services investing to the business. Prior to his role in the emerging RWD business unit, he was Chief Strategy Officer for Ciox, responsible for corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and strategic partnerships across the enterprise. He catalyzed the development of the real-world efforts at Ciox in 2018 and led the fundraising efforts that ended with a foundational equity investment in Ciox from Merck in 2019.
Prior to joining Ciox Health, Dan built and led teams to source, evaluate, and execute M&A investments for Deloitte Consulting’s $9B US business, focusing on the healthcare and technology sectors. He drove a variety of growth investments, including buy-outs, lift-outs, IP asset purchases, international joint-ventures, early-stage software ventures, and carve-outs. Before that, Dan led corporate and competitive strategy engagements for healthcare organizations at Deloitte Consulting. Dan holds a graduate degree in healthcare management from Trinity University, with a concentration in corporate finance.
