How to post on Strixus
Before posting, please make sure to read our editorial guidelines.
If you don’t already have a Strixus account, register for one here.
Once you’ve logged in with your password, you can start creating a article!
Adding a new post
On the left sidebar of the page, you will see a navigation menu called posts, click on it.
Click on the “Add New” button.
Adding your article
Firstly, you would add a title (headline) to your article.
After that, you would write a short excerpt for your article
below that in the post excerpt field and finally you would add your article to the box right below that.
Upload a feature image to your article
The featured image is the main image that will appear at the top of your story. Our system will automatically resize and compress the images.
Including a photo with your submission is optional — we can take care of the photo for you. However, if you do choose to include a photo with your article submission, please make sure it is from a free stock photo website like Pexels, Pixabay, or Unsplash. We will not accept photos that we do not have the rights to, and this includes photos pulled from Google.
Additional images within your article
To add any additional images within your article, click on the “Add media” button on the left hand side of the page – numbered 7.
Add your article to one of our categories
Tag your article with the list of tags
Submit your article
Congratulations! You’ve officially written an article for Strixus. All you need to do now, is hit the “Submit for review” button in the upper right corner of the screen.
One of our editors will take over from there.
